Form follows function

Over the years, Peter Weed has designed hundreds of newspaper pages and has taken scores of magazines from vague idea to print. He has found the oldest rules to be best: form follows function, keep it simple and when it doubt, leave it out. The results are well thought-out, accessible layouts that feature highly readable content as well as well-integrated, evocative images.

Bringing a high attention to detail to her design, Jennifer Hutchins is a fan of simplicity, white space, and less-is-simply better. Over the years, Jennifer has produced a number of academic reports, brochures, posters, promotional and collateral materials, advertisements, etc., including work for several Maine nonprofits and businesses, large and small.

Below are a few recent design projects by Peter and Jennifer. For more examples of their work, please contact them.
